THEY SUSPECT NOTHING

They suspect nothing is a compilation of different comedy mini-games. You take on the role of the last human on earth trying to infiltrate a robot society by completing a bunch of bizarre human detection tests. I mainly worked on designing the core of the game, the scoring system, player progression and interaction systems. In addition to working on some of the games core design, I also designed and developed a handful of the final games included in the main game:

Crane: Become a crane operator and stop hordes of robots trying to escape the scrap heap.

CataclySim: Test out the latest Arcadia tech in a planet annihilation simulation. Use a gravity cannon to fling asteroids at targets

Botanics: Become an oil connoisseur as you have to craft some of the finest Oil concoctions in Arcadia to keep your regular happy​

In each mini-game, it was important to create levels that facilitated various gameplay types and supported the intended humour. This meant that the layout of each scene was important, all gameplay elements had to be easily accessible and unobstructed and getting the scale of each environment right was extremely important for ensuring all actions felt right.

Support other designers to help ensure ideas are in line with the games core pillars and there was some level of consistency
